Turkey Day Is Past
Well, Turkey Day is over. For once, I did not get sick. Normally I get sick every Thanksgiving, but this time it didn't happen. That is one thing that I am thankful for. I mean, I have been in the hospital for dehydration from vomiting on Thanksgiving. However, that helps me to reflect. Just think of all the people who are sick all the time, from terminal illnesses, like Aids and Cancer. I know a lot of my family has been affected by Cancer. Why?
So, I am thankful to God that I myself don't have cancer. That I have all four limbs, unlike some of those who have fought to defend my freedom. I am thankful for the fact that I have friends and family who love me, who support me, and help me whenever I need it. I am thankful for many things. In fact, way too many to list them all here.
So, all I can do is pray. Pray for those that support me, pray and be thankful.
So, that is what I do on Thanksgiving day; I try to do every day.
So why am I writing about that here? To remind me, and hopefully someone else, to stop and be thankful.
