Just wanted to tell about this link to a great newsletter about computers. Find out about more of the newsletters I subscribe to.

The weekend is coming up. There are many questions that only time can answer. Will there be any updates? Will the sky fall on us? How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie center of a Tootsie Pop? (We may never know.) I have a lot of things to do this weekend so I don't know what will happen, but I have added another thing to the list that I want on the site. I want to put some wallpapers that I have made using Terragen.

Ahh, it's Friday. Three day weekend for me. Mu ha ha ha. (That was suppose to be an evil laughter, but sometimes it can be hard to type out sounds.)

I have been messing with some CSS stuff. Click here to check it out. No guarantees that anything will look or act right, it's just a working project. Have any suggestions? Contact me.
I'll be out of town this weekend so no updates. I am hoping soon though.

The 'In' Crowd and Social Cruelty
"The bully of my middle school in Wilmette, Ill., scared me so much, I dreamed about him. I'd walk blocks out of the way to avoid him. I'm now 55, yet the fear is still fresh."
*Sigh* Something I know all to well.
Do We Need a National Pretzel Day?
"You may be celebrating Father's Day this Sunday. But do you celebrate--or have you even heard of--National Night Out? Who do you send a card to on Alternative Fuels Vehicle Day? How do you celebrate Court Reporting and Capturing Day?"
Yet more useless things are tax money is wasted on.
Would You Confuse Stones' Bassist with Newspaper Columnist?
"What's in a name? Well, you may get a 'cease-and-desist' letter if a famous person shares yours."
Now give ME a break.
Sex in Middle School? - 'Just Say No' Doesn't Cut It in Keeping Kids from Sex
"Remember what it was like to be a young teen? You worried about your clothes, acne, braces, who's popular, and, of course, dating and sex."
As a current High School Senior I think I have a little insight into this. Sex is everywhere in High School, Junior High, and Middle School. EVERYWHERE! Parents (the good ones) need to realize that. The sad fact is, many parents simply do not care. Now that is really a tragedy. Kids have kids and STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases) often outbreak in schools. Are we as a society to blame? Sex is blasted at teens from TV, Music, the Internet, and many other sources. I think we all need to take responsibility.

Inept Car Thieves Couldn't Drive
"Two would-be Canadian thieves learned the hard way on New Year's Day that knowing how to drive a car is a prerequisite for stealing one."
Bank robber arrested after leaving trail of sweet wrappers
Armed robber leaves wallet behind
Shop raider foiled as shaving cream disguise drips off

This is late, but I thought I might as well write something for the new year. It has been one year since I started this weblog. Where have I come in that time? I have no idea. I just hope my new year starts out better than Wil's. For me personally, 2002 has been a bad year. I don't know if my feeling of general depression is from the upcoming change of me going to college or what. I don't really like change, but what is a guy gonna do. This year is a new year all right because it will have a lot of new things in store for me. But, I guess I will be alright.
This is kinda late, but that old saying is true: "Better late than never." For Christmas my brother came over. We finished some stages of Halo together. This was a good Christmas. I got a new game, and a keyboard (The piano type, not the computer type.). I have been wanting to learn how to play (this site is a good place to start, but then I will have to hire a teacher) for quite a while. Now I have something that I can work on and improve myself for the new year. Which is the best part (and maybe most important) about humanity, our ability to improve ourselves for the better.
Today we were just taking down our outside Christmas lights. It was a bit of closure for 2002. But now is when we pick up and forget about what has happened and focus on what will happen. What do you all think? Post a comment below and tell me.
Later
PS I am hoping I can get some more links added very soon. (If I can quite waking up at noon.) And I also forgot to tell why I took the poll of the site. It was just too slow, but I found another one with more features that I will add as soon as they add a feature I requested.

Feeling Blue? This Robot Knows It
"A new robot picks up on its human master's emotional state by processing readings from sensors the person wears. The idea, researchers say, is to send the empathetic machine onto the battlefield as a soldiers' aide."
Should I be disturbed by this?
