Spam, the king of annoyances, the master of mayheim, the wizard of...
I updated/rearranged my *big announcer voice* ANTI-SPAM PAGE. So if you are sick of it, don't know what it is, or just love that song (spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam...) then head on over there.

What has been going on?
I started going to NMSU on August 18. My first day was sucky. Why? There is no parking on this campus anywhere. Oh yeah, there are plenty of parking spaces, but there are also plenty of cars to fit in those spaces. That made me late to my first class. This stressed me out so much I was shaking. I finally got over that. Hopefully now, I might have a schedule worked out. The problem is that I have to spend so much time on campus not being in class. I would rather spend that time at home. I live w/in 5 miles of the campus. But, if I leave I will have to walk in this 100 degree + weather. That isn't fun. But, the whole day was just one stress after another.
This semester I have it pretty easy as far as my classes are concerned. I wanted to take a light load starting out. No need to overburden my self when I am just testing my feet in the water. I have a class called Univ 150 which helps beginning freshmen with just about everything. Problem with this class is that we have to do a lot of stuff that will put me in some uncomfortable situations. There are also a lot of papers that have to be written. I have Span 111. Not tough yet, might get there though. I have Math 185, college algebra. The problem with this class is that it will be going really fast. Material might not be hard, but if it is crammed in there, that makes it tough. I have CS 167. Which is an internet based course, no classroom, to learn how to program in C. I have never programmed anything before, so it should be interesting to see how this works out for me. I have dabbled, more than others, in every major field with computers except programming. I have worked with image editing, webpage creation, networking, PC repair, but not any programming. I am kind of anxious to start.
I also got moved over here and settled in. (To my home at least, not to the town) It is too big for my tastes.
Just a side note, readers of this blog, if there are any, might think that I whine a lot. That is not true. A blog is a place to put down a person's personal feelings and thoughts. I don't think that is whining. Just try to keep that in mind.

Stupid idea
I received a really stupid letter in the mail a few days ago. Guess what it is......No, that isn't it, guess again.....Yeppers, a jurry summons. Ain't that stupid. I am going to have 2 weeks in school under my belt and then I am going to have to travel several hundred miles to appear. Hopefully I won't have to because I don't live in that county though. I don't think they will make me.
Update: Not a problem anymore. Whew!

Meme
A returning favorite (for me anyway) is here. It is the Friday Five.
1. What's the last place you traveled to, outside your own home state/country?
El Paso, TX. Just for fun.
2. What's the most bizarre/unusual thing that's ever happened to you while traveling?
I was asleep one time when we hit a quail. It wasn't really bizarre but it scared the crap out of me.
3. If you could take off to anywhere, money and time being no object, where would you go?
Washington DC. I think every American should visit it. So much history.
4. Do you prefer traveling by plane, train or car?
Plane by far. It is the fastest and the coolest. It is also a very rare experience for me.
5. What's the next place on your list to visit?
I don't have a list.

Annoyance
Well, had the wisdom teeth taken out and I....*drooool*......Just kidding, everybody keeps telling me I have lost my smarts because of it.
It was kind of a weird experience. They put me out of it, and while I was in the recovery room I was trying to tell my mom something. I couldn't speak so I scribbled a note. I put "writer's block" for some reason, and then other unreadable stuff. My memory of it is just sort of a dream. I don't remember it distinctively. I got home, not much pain however. Then the next day my cheek swelled up. Dad says I look like a chipmunk. I don't think it's funny. I guess it will take a couple of days for that to go down.
The Last Comic Standing marathon was on today. Pretty funny.

2 thumbs down for the RIAA
Eventhough downloading copyrighted music is illegal, what the RIAA is doing should be too. I mean, lets just file lawsuits against 14 year old kids. I already heard a story, where this one guy lost his entire life savings/college money to these lawsuits. Agree? Then check out this page. Want to know if you are on the list of subpoenas? Then check out this page.

Mac switch ads
This movie is pretty funny. (A few strong words.) Remember those ads that appeared on TV trying to get Window users to switch over to Macs. I always thought Apple was stretching the truth. This movie turns the tide. (Windows Media Player 9 required.)

Anesthesia
Have to go in for surgery tomorrow. Looks like milkshakes for a while.
Big Brother 4 tonight, who are they going to vote off?
Looks like Arnold Sczwaneger, I mean, Arnold Scwanheimer, let me look it up...Arnold Schwarzenegger will be running for California governor when they recall California's current governor, Gray "I love spending more money than I have" Davis. If I lived in California, I would vote for him. He is a good guy, and that is something that California needs, a good guy.
I like Coffee ice cream.
30 billion window crashes a day?
It seems that being off for a week, hostedscripts.com came back up after I posted saying it was down. So all of this stuff, is working now.
Looks like google added a new toy, to its playground. Very cool.

Wednesday What-Ifs
1. What if you were offered the opportunity to have an operation that would increase your intelligence, but noticeably decrease your level of happiness?
I would turn it down. I believe I am reasonably intelligent. Happiness is more important than intelligence anyway. Without happiness, what else is there?
2. What if you had to choose between an operation that would leave you without hands, or an operation that would leave you with no feet?
Lose the feet. Without hands my entire life would have to be changed. Without feet, my entire life would have to change as well, but sitting around in a wheelchair is better than eating with your feet.
3. What if you had to decide whether to risk your life and give a kidney to a dying relative whom you've never met, but whose kidneys match yours exactly?
I would do it. If I had to died giving my kidney, then I died letting someone else live. I also believe, that if I died, then that was when I was suppose to die. That was when I was suppose to die according to God's divine plan for all of us.
4. What if you could have an operation that would allow you to morph into any animal at will, but would steal your ability of human speech?
I don't think I would do it. It would be hard to live life without communication easily.
5. What if you could have an operation to change one thing about yourself -- what would it be?
Better my complexion. Get rid of the zits.

Hostedscripts.com down under
It seems that hosted script doesn't work anymore. I am going to give it a couple of more days, if it still doesn't work, then I will switch services. In the meantime, the feedback form, tell-a-friend page, guestbook, and probably something else that I can't think of right now. Sorry, if you want to reach me, you can always use the comments below these posts in the meantime. Sorry.

Whatever.
It seems that I haven't posted in a while. It is because I was away from a puter. I am back at one now, obviously (or maybe not so obvious, because my psychic powers are extensive), back at the old one, at old home. As I mentioned early I have to get my wisdom teeth pul...ok, I can't stand it anymore. Was that "psychic powers" thing just incredibly lame or what?
We got a hold of my grandmothers dog so we could get him groomed. He doesn't like leaving her and hasn't done anything except pout around the house.
I think I might have mentioned this before, but I have found another picture of my dog, and will be posting it when I get to new home.
It might rain, yeah!
Update:
It didn't rain.
