Relief...*sigh*
Wow, so I am now relieved. Somewhat anyways. Next week is finals week, definitely not something that gives me relief. The thing that does give me relief is the fact that I am all caught up on all of my homework. I have nothing to do, not a thing, nadda, zippo, and all that jazz.
I played some of the new Halo 2 maps, very cool, and pretty.
So I have had the new MSN Messenger for a while. Very cool, when it works. Which it doesn't half the time on my puter. However, I have no problems with it on my work PC, just mine. Dumb puter. MSN toolbar suite will be released soon, coming out of beta. Very cool stuff there. I was fixing to reformat my puter a while back and downloaded it. I was like, "What the hey, I'm going to reformat anyway." So I did, and I liked it.
Another beta that I downloaded was Microsoft's Anti-Spyware. I like it too. Although this beta was more rough around the edges than the toolbar suite. It is also going to come out soon.
I also watched Bill Gate's keynote speech at WinHec (I'm just loving broadband), and I am personally getting very excited for Longhorn.
So, I now use Gmail as my main email now. I have Hotmail, Yahoo, NMSU, and CS NMSU email accounts now. Talk about email overload. I also check all of them every single day. The computer has taken over my life I'm telling you. I use it for Work, School, and Play. Oh well.
I fixed an annoying bug on the site that has been on my list of things to do for months now. It seems my Comment code for these posts and my counter doesn't get along with each other very good. They both use that nasty little thing I like to call JavaScript. Alas, there is certain things you can do in JavaScript that you can't do any other way. Well, anyways it is now fixed. So if you have been getting a lot of script errors, I apologize. *blush*
So with the summer coming up I'm hoping to catch up on a lot of things. First, I have a lot of PC and console games that I never get to play. Just no time. Also, I have a ton of updates that I have been meaning to do to the site. Both content and technical related. With the prospect of not being able to work full time this summer (lack of funding) I will have more time on my hands to do it. Which is definitely a bad and a good thing. But, mostly bad actually. I could use the money. As all of us could.

Tired
So, me and 13 other friends went to the comic strip in El Paso last night. The show started late, and we went to Taco Cabana afterwards so we didn't end up getting home until 3:00 am. I was pretty tired. It was the first time I have driven in El Paso, or a city that size. Las Cruces isn't nearly as bad, but there was no problems.
In other news, I bought some new speakers. I am very pleased with them. 500 watts for my computer. Very nice. I have been listening to them at pretty high volumes to test them out lately. Both days since I have had them, they have gotten me sick. I think it is the subwoofer and the pressure difference. I mean, when I can go outside put my hand on the wall of my bedroom and feel them, it is up just a little too loud. I definitely don't plan on listening to that high of volumes normally.
I am planning on buying a new computer sometime next year, or December of this year. I don't know yet. It all depends on what Microsoft is going to do with Longhorn, their new Operating System. I'm not going to buy a new computer that isn't capable of handling the OS to it's maximum. I'm planning on getting the Dell XPS. Right now they are at Generation 4 model and will be coming out with a Generation 5 model soon. I could sure use a new computer though, one of the fans went out on this one so I "rednecked it up" and took one from another computer, but it didn't fit, so I use those good ol twisty ties to help me out. You might be wondering why a computer geek majoring in Computer Science like me isn't building his own computer for a cheaper price. I could do that, but I don't think I want to go through all the hassle. I want to be able to customize it and get the components in it, and it be tested out for me and sent to my door step. That is what Dell will do for me. They had some pretty good deals out, 33% off. That took almost a grand off of my configured price. Very nice.

Sweet Dreams...
Last night I had one of the strangest and maybe one of the best dreams I ever had. I have had strange dreams, I had a dream where my dad's eyes starting rolling like a slot machine. When he had three cherries, he took off on a motorcycle and started racing around in our yard. On the fence. He was horizontal, parallel to the ground. Very strange.
Anyways, this dream was quite interesting. I was in this huge room, and I was with a group of a lot of people. I don't remember why we came there, but we were there. Then a guy came and said that if we stayed there for two weeks, then we would win a contest. We couldn't leave, and that was all there was to it. So we stayed. As the days progressed we grew tired and restless of each other. We grew on each other's nerves. Some of us tried to leave, but once they were out the door their skin started to melt. They came back inside and they were fine. Finally, after something that the man said to me, I figured out that most of the people that were there were really holograms. He snapped his fingers and half of the people disappeared. He explained that we are all better people now because we worked together and was able to get along with each other. Put aside our differences so to speak. Anyways, he called me into his office and explained to me that he was a visitor from a far away place and that I was to take his place, since I was the one that figured out what was going on. All of a sudden, the next batch of people started coming in, and I was the one in charge. He was still there, like my mentor. Although I now had these powers and could control things. I even won the girl, in my dream. The one I have a crush on. Well, anyways, like I said, it was strange.

Late night...
No, this isn't a post about television. It is simply a post about late night. At late night I play Halo 2. At late night, I watch late night tv. (Ok, so maybe there was some tv in this post, but not much.) At late night, I say my prayers. At late night, I think about work. At late night, I think about school. At late night, I think about crushes. At late night, I read my email. At late night, I go to bed. Goodnight.

Ugghhh
Being sick sucks, especially when you have so much stuff to do. I was fine all day Friday, I had school, I had work, no problems. Then about an hour after I came home, I decided to up chuck, or rather, my body decided to do that. Yesterday I still felt terrible, I couldn't move without making my stomach upset. Hopefully, today, I will be better, considering that I have to write my speech today. :(

Couple of Weeks
The last couple of weeks sure have been eventful. Terry Shaivo, died. In an extremely barbaric way. I didn't know we just let people starve to death in this country. There is a huge difference between pulling the plug, and pulling the food and water. May God bless her.
As to the Pope as well. Which is interesting to note the oldest elected office in world history.
In other news, my last communication speech is coming up in a couple of weeks. I am going to do it over my english 111 paper that I did, education. Liberal Agenda in education, teacher education, moral education, all really important and big issues. The hard part. What to pursuade people to do? What do I want my audience to do afterwards? That is the challenging part of my topic.
It's so hot here. I like the warm weather better than the cold weather. However, it just drains the energy straight from my body.
Aaggghhh, the time change. I stayed till 8:30 at work today. I looked down at the clock, and was like, why am I here so late? Didn't even realize it, my biological clock is in a futz. (Is that a word?)
Although we did get to do some cool stuff at work today. For a little change of pace instead of programming all day, I and a couple of other co-workers, Luke, Ryan, Jaclyn, Adron, and my Boss, went down to ICT and installed some hard drives into a couple of servers. Well more like 32, with more to come, but who is counting? Uh, well, I guess I am.
It is so hot.
Well, I guess it is time to head off to bed. <Redneck Accent>You all be safe now you hear?</Redneck Accent>
