The Artificial Prison of the Human Mind

In 1963, a study about prisons was funded by the U.S. Navy to try to better understand problems in the Marine Corps.' prisons. The study was run by a group of researchers at Stanford, led by psychologist Philip G. Zimbardo. The idea was to create a controlled environment in the Stanford halls to simulate a prison.

Well, my Grandma was out of surgery on her hip last tuesday. She will be in physical therapy for about a month.

Yesterday Was A Bad Day
My brother had work trouble.

I woke up late and missed one of my classes (first time I did that in a year). This caused me to miss a take home quiz and notes for tomorrow.

I got a call from my Mom saying that my Grandma fell and broke her hip. Apparently, because of some blood thinner she is on, they can't operate for a week. So she is laying there in pain and agony waiting for the operation.

This week will be a bad week.

A team of Houston medical experts didn't have any other way to save Vetter's life. They rushed him into his bubble immediately after his birth, correctly assuming he suffered from a rare inherited condition called severe combined immunodeficiency. The experts also assumed they could cure him, and they made no plans for what to do if they couldn't.
