Stupid people should have to wear signs that just say, "I'm Stupid." That way you wouldn't rely on them, would you? You wouldn't ask them anything. It would be like, "Excuse me...oops...never mind, didn't see your sign." Last time I had a flat tire, I pulled my truck into one of those side-of-the-road gas stations. The attendant walks out, looks at my truck, looks at me, and I SWEAR he said, "Tire go flat?" I couldn't resist. I said, "Nope. I was driving around and those other three just swelled right up on me. Here's your sign." -Bill Engvall

225 pranksters shop in slow motion at Home Depot - hilarious

Improv Everywhere is at it again! This past Saturday, 225 people descended on Home Depot in Madison Square Park to shop in slow motion. This is the same flash mob group that organized the fake U2 rooftop concert and invasion of Best Buy with lookalike-employees.

ER
Yesterday morning my eyes were stinging a little bit, but I didn't really think anything of it as that happens sometimes. I put my contacts in. Then in the afternoon they were really bothering me. So I took the contacts out. My eyes didn't get better. So, last night I went to the ER. It seems that I somehow received two scratches on my eye. The doc gave me a patch to wear during the night and some drops.

We went to the eye doctor today, to confirm (don't want to mess around with vision problems.) He told me I shouldn't put my contacs in until next week. Oh, and the sensivity to light should go away as it heals. Looks like I'm back to glasses this week, and goofy cardboard sunglasses (from the eye doctor) on top of those for outside. Regular sunglasses are not dark enough. I even have to darken the monitor just to look at it. Oh well, can't complain, it's only for a week, and at least I can still see.

Weather
After the hottest driest summer in recent memory, it started to rain. El Paso is flooded, and there are threats of a dam bursting in Juarez, Mexico. That just amazes me. I go to work this morning, half of my yard is flooded, the roads are flooded, and I can't get into my office building without getting wet. I go to lunch, and the only evidence of a rain was that there is some standing water in some parking lots. My yard is wet but you can't see any standing water anymore. Amazing. I only wished that El Paso could dry out as fast as us.
