Wireless Sidebar Gadget for Windows Vista
I love Windows Vista and one of the neat new features is the Windows Sidebar. Well one of my favorite gadgets is the Wireless Networking one. It has a bug though where the images do not always display. I fixed it. Here are the instructions, but I want to reiterate that I did not make this gadget. I like it and fixed it.

After you have installed the wireless gadget, put this javascript file file into this folder:
C:Users[username]AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows
SidebarGadgetsWirelessNetwork.gadgeten-USjs
It should replace the one you have in there currently, and it would be a good idea to back-up this file just in case. I'm not sure why, but on my machine the path was
C:Users[username]AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindows
SidebarGadgetsWirelessNetwork[1].gadgeten-USjs

EDIT: You will probably have to close the sidebar completely and then start it again. Also if it only shows 0% or some other error this script will not fix it. It will only fix the problem of images (the bars that show strength) not being displayed at all.

The De Havilland Mosquito - the RAF's bomber, made almost entirely of wood

Its final construction was heat-formed plywood over a wooden frame, with sections glued and screwed for extra strength. It employed Ecuadorean balsawood sandwiched with Canadian birch, a particularly strong and lightweight grade of plywood. Metal was used in only a few parts, including the engine housings and some control surfaces.

On April Fool's day in 1898, Boris encountered a unique opportunity to begin applying his eccentric theories of psychology in a real-world environment: his wife Sarah gave birth to a son. Under the tutelage of these ingenious yet neurotic parents, young William James Sidis developed into an individual with astonishing talents.

Bandwidth
Well in October my bandwidth was like double of that in September. Barely the 4th of the Month and I am already at 20% of my bandwidth this month. I know why. My wallpaper is all over MySpace and Hi5. It's killing my bandwidth as every time one of these profiles are loaded, it downloads the image from my server.

I can stop it, easy. I don't really want to though, I mean, it's good advertising for my site. I'm monitoring it right now, although it's a daunting task. There are a few sites that I will be blocking the images after I contact the owners. Reason being is that my signature on the wallpapers don't show up. That is against the Terms of Use of this site. In some cases some of these people could download these images to their server, therefore saving my bandwidth.

I have 2 options, cut off hotlinking to everyone, or cut it off to everyone who hotlinks anew past a certain date. We'll see.
