Basically, click a link in an email, view the advertisement, and a few cents is credited to your account.

The best part about these programs is that if someone signs up using your referral number you get a certain percentage of what they get. You also get a certain percentage of the people they refer.

So, if you refer 2 people and they each refer 2 people and so on, you can make a lot of money.

Note: These are not gimmicks. It is also not a pyramid scheme as you pay nothing. The only thing you lose is time. It's just true, period. I have belonged to all three of these companies for over 5 years now and have never had problems.

Also, I have not received any spam from joining these companies. I hate spam. All the emails they send are clearly identified. In fact, what I do is set up email filters so they all go into a special folder. That way it doesn't get intermingled into my regular email. I also suggest using a free account such as Hotmail to handle them.
