Strange Medical Conditions

I had a dream last night.

I was at this lady's house along with my brother and some other people I don't know. We were going to see a very sick girl. I didn't know her. She had an extremely rare disease. I'm not sure of the symptoms but she was very sensitive to outside contaminants. So we decided to go in and see her.

We were given a mask and a thermometer by her mother. The thermometer was promptly stuck in my arm. What better way to get someone's temperature than stick it inside their flesh? If the temperature rose above a certain point, we were required to vacate her room immediately. We were put into some sort of people move. While we were preparing to enter her room, we were given an information sheet. Her mom stole it from another person who also had a rare disorder. I guess she thought it was applicable here as well. It said something like this:

Bart has a very rare condition. To look upon him is not for the faint of heart. To say that he is grotesque is an understatement. Please remember that he is under extreme pain and has been that way for most of his life. He is neither a person nor many persons. His body parts come from others. In essence, he is a living modern day Frankenstein. This keeps him alive. He is fragile. Do NOT touch him. Do NOT get within 5 meters of him. Do NOT talk loudly. Do NOT be alarmed if he screams, cries, and moves in a jerky fashion. Do NOT be alarmed by the room. It can be alarming to see the numerous medical devices surround him. It is a clean and sterile environment. It is big. It is sparsely populated. Do NOT get in the way of his doctors and nurses. Do NOT cough or sneeze within a 30-meter radius of him. Do love him.

The girl we were going to see does not have this same condition. We can see the room from a distance. There is a window. It's bright around her bed. All that can be seen is her bed and a few medical monitoring devices. She is sitting up in her bed. I can barely make it out though, it is too far away. I do know that the room is huge, about the size of a regular house.

We sit in some sort of golf cart like contraption. It takes us through several sealed doors until we finally meet her.

She is not Frankenstein. She does not look grotesque. In fact, she appears to be a normal girl. Well, the way a normal girl would look like being in a hospital all her life. She looked to be about in her late twenties. Her hair was frazzled. She was friendly. Didn't appear to be in pain. I didn't know what was wrong with her. All I knew is that she was trapped in this room. She could not leave. Not until they found a cure.

We were talking. What about is not important. She started to walk away and she collapsed onto the floor. Out of nowhere a half dozen nurses and doctors came to her. They lifted her into her bed and proceeded to work on her. When this happened we started traveling back to our starting point. We were never allowed to leave our vehicle. Apparently this sort of thing happened all the time to her.

Trains, Planes, and ... No Wait, Just Trains
So, my brother and I found this old, dusty, weird train. It was right in the middle of our city. It was in a large old multi-story building. We have something super secret that we don't want anybody to know about, so we decided to store it in this old train. We started up the train and for some reason we were standing on the tracks. It started coming straight for us. We were running around on the tracks trying to escape it until it took a quick turn and just missed us. Anybody ever ride Thunder Mountain Railroad at Disneyland or Disneyworld? Exactly. It was quite possible the most terrifying experience I have ever had. (Not the ride, the train chasing me on the track.)

So finally we got the train stopped and lowered it down on the train elevator to the basement. (I didn't know those existed.) We unhooked the passenger cars, stored away our booty...I mean our items and brought the train back up to the ground floor.

Then, my brother and I got an idea? Why not start a passenger train service for our city and surrounding ones. We could make a little money, and provide a much needed service. Well, we couldn't use the passenger, box cars; they were, uh, being utilized. So we opted to just use the open cars, convertible style. We stuck a bunch of freight on the end and began our service.

People are stupid.

Nobody listens to authority anymore. They don't follow rules or keep order. I mean, we had the train moving, and one Woman and her little kid started jumping from car to car. I couldn't believe it. What is wrong with people?

Then, I woke up.

Not only is it the editor I use for my website, it is also a good descriptive word for this post. You see I had yet another weird dream last night. I and a bunch of other people (which I don't recognize them in the awake world, but I knew them in the dream world) were trapped in this maze.

First, we were sitting in this dark and gloomy area and in front of us were wires with little creatures on them. The wires were set up as trip wires. One of the people that was with us, tripped one, and all of a sudden, these creatures scurried off the wires and started to engulf the person. We had our phasers, a la Star Trek style, so we were able to thwart that attack.

Then, after that, all of the creatures disappeared and so did the wires. We were in a large room with several rooms off to the side. The rooms were very ornate looking, something similar to ancient Egypt. In one room it looked like an old Victorian house, were remnants of people that were there before us. There were notes and hand drawn maps of the area. This would come into use.

After we discovered this all of a sudden, a bunch of other people appeared. We could see them, but they couldn't see us. They didn't even know we were there. One of the people with me explained that they were out of phase with us, different dimensions so to speak, and they too were trapped in the maze. After some time passed, they slowly became in phase with us, and were there with us normally.

All of a sudden, a big screen appeared and started playing some video clip or movie. We watched it and when it was over we had to remember stuff that happened or we would be killed.

Then these two stone creatures appeared. They said they would have to fight one of us. If that person won, we would move to the next level, if he lost, we would all die. Naturally, they chose to fight me. They gave me a weapon that looked like a bowl made of tin foil. I asked how this was supposed to be a weapon. Well apparently, when you pushed a button on the side it turned very hard. You were supposed to slam this into people. Well after a bunch of fighting and me losing my bowl weapon, the second creature allowed us both to have a sword to fight each other. I was doing pretty good when the second creature decided to join in. So, I was in a sword fight with two of the creatures. That was fun. Then I discovered another button on the sword. When pressed the blade rotated like on a drill. So we all started fighting with our swords rotating. I ended up winning that fight, naturally. The only problem, I woke up after that. I don't know what happened next.

In retrospect, it seemed like we were in some kind of weird social experiment conducted by who knows what and who knows where. It was weird, but somewhat neat in a, well, weird sort of way.

Sweet Dreams...
Last night I had one of the strangest and maybe one of the best dreams I ever had. I have had strange dreams, I had a dream where my dad's eyes starting rolling like a slot machine. When he had three cherries, he took off on a motorcycle and started racing around in our yard. On the fence. He was horizontal, parallel to the ground. Very strange.

Anyways, this dream was quite interesting. I was in this huge room, and I was with a group of a lot of people. I don't remember why we came there, but we were there. Then a guy came and said that if we stayed there for two weeks, then we would win a contest. We couldn't leave, and that was all there was to it. So we stayed. As the days progressed we grew tired and restless of each other. We grew on each other's nerves. Some of us tried to leave, but once they were out the door their skin started to melt. They came back inside and they were fine. Finally, after something that the man said to me, I figured out that most of the people that were there were really holograms. He snapped his fingers and half of the people disappeared. He explained that we are all better people now because we worked together and was able to get along with each other. Put aside our differences so to speak. Anyways, he called me into his office and explained to me that he was a visitor from a far away place and that I was to take his place, since I was the one that figured out what was going on. All of a sudden, the next batch of people started coming in, and I was the one in charge. He was still there, like my mentor. Although I now had these powers and could control things. I even won the girl, in my dream. The one I have a crush on. Well, anyways, like I said, it was strange.

Dreams
While I was spending some time away from home with my parents I was having weird dreams every single night.

Dream #1
Deep underground in the bowels of the earth there was a secret lab with an individual. One, who couldn't move. If he did, he would die. It was a strange and rare disease. He had to be suspended on a bed. The scene was similar to that scene in the first Matrix Movie when Neo was having his muscles stimulated. Except they were completely surrounding his body and keeping him from laying on the bed. If he did the bruises would kill him. In the lab they were doing research to cure him. I was just an observer during the dream.

Dream #2
I have never been to England before until I had this dream. I ended up staying in a small hotel, but driving was a nightmare. Think twenty lane freeways twisting and turning in and out of each other. I doubt the real England is like that.

Dream #3
I was taking some finals, but we were in a huge room with several tables. It was less than a quarter full with people. There were probably 200 tables in the room. I was trying to take my final but my brother was sitting right next to me harassing me and bothering me. I ended up flunking the final because I kept getting sidetracked.
